Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Join us at Trafford's Family Support Team as a Children's Social Worker. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to provide support, guidance, and intervention aimed at enhancing the well-being of children and ensuring their safety and stability within their home environments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families. Monitoring and reviewing progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes. Collaborating with multi-agency teams and external stakeholders to provide holistic support. Maintaining accurate and timely records, adhering to local policies and procedures.To be considered for this position, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a thorough understanding of child protection legislation, and the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience in child and family social work is highly desirable.
