Swindon’s Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to support children and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and interventions to thrive.
As a Children's Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are informed of available services and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with safeguarding and local authority policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
