Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families? Achieving for Children is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and professionals to ensure that children with disabilities receive the support and services they need to thrive.

As a Children's Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and development of children. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and support. Providing guidance and support to families to help them navigate available resources and services. Maintaining accurate documentation and case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working with children and families, particularly in the context of disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop tailored support plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
