Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Court Team in Blackburn as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker in our Court Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Preparing and presenting evidence in court, advocating for the best interests of the child. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and fostering strong partnerships with external agencies.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in court settings. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex situations.
