Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work – Children in Need (CIN) Team in Leicester, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding vulnerable children and supporting their families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the welfare of children in your care. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality support to those who need it most.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support children and their families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with legislation and best practice. Providing advice and support to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly within a CIN framework. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
