We are seeking a Children's Advanced Practitioner to join our Emergency Duty Team (EDT) in Bury. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical support to children and families in crisis. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their well-being through effective intervention and support.
As a Children's Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in emergency situations. Developing and implementing care plans that address the immediate needs of children. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns. Providing supervision and support to less experienced social workers within the team. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualifying experience in children's social work, preferably within an EDT setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
