We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to join our Complex Team in Hammersmith & Fulham. As a pivotal member of our social work department, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families in the area.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Supervising and supporting a team of social workers in their casework, providing guidance and direction as needed Managing complex cases involving child protection, domestic violence, mental health issues, and substance misuse Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other agencies and professionals to safeguard the welfare of children Conducting regular case reviews, assessments, and evaluations to monitor progress and outcomes Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to maintain high standards of practiceEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration Proven experience in a managerial role within a social work setting, preferably within child protection services Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines in social workAdditional requirements or benefits:
