Join our dedicated East Social Care Team in Wokingham as a Senior Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable individuals and families in our community. You will be responsible for managing complex cases, conducting assessments, and ensuring that the needs of service users are effectively met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans. Providing guidance and support to junior social workers and support staff. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care. Managing a caseload of complex cases and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Engaging with service users and their families to promote empowerment and resilience.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in social work, particularly in children's or adult services. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a clear understanding of safeguarding practices.
