As a Social Worker in the Family Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to support families in crisis. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure the safety and welfare of children. Providing direct support and intervention to families, fostering resilience and empowerment. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legislative and organizational standards. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
