In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of effective care and support services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans for service users. Providing expert guidance and supervision to junior staff and social work students. Acting as an AMHP, facilitating Mental Health Act assessments and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Building strong relationships with service users, families, and external agencies to promote integrated care. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Active registration with Social Work England. AMHP status with relevant experience in mental health services. Strong understanding of mental health legislation and best practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centered care.
