We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Trafford - Children with Disability team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and developing care plans Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and adjusting interventions as needed Providing guidance and support to families to enhance their capacity to care for their childrenEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in working with children with disabilities Registration with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Strong assessment and case management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary teamIn addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
