Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults? The Wolverhampton City Council is seeking a qualified Adult Social Worker to join our Ageing Well Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, providing essential support and services to enhance the well-being of older residents in our community.
As a key member of the Ageing Well Team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:
Assessing the needs of older adults and developing tailored care plans. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients. Providing guidance and support to families and caregivers. Advocating for the rights and needs of older individuals within the community. Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure the best outcomes for clients.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with older adults and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
