Join our dedicated team in Somerset as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) in the Qualified Social Work field. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who is committed to supporting individuals with mental health needs. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing and managing the mental health of clients, ensuring their rights are upheld while facilitating access to necessary services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Providing crisis intervention and support to individuals in acute mental health situations. Ensuring compliance with mental health legislation and safeguarding policies. Maintaining accurate documentation and case records in accordance with organizational standards.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England and hold AMHP status. Proven experience in mental health social work and crisis intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
