Join our Duty & Assessment Team in Staffordshire as a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner. In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing the needs of vulnerable children and adults, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes within the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing expert guidance and support to junior staff and colleagues. Maintaining accurate and timely records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection, assessment, and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
