Senior Social Worker | MACH Team | Middlesbrough Borough Council
Caritas Recruitment is supporting Middlesbrough Borough Council in recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their innovative Multi-Agency Children's Hub (MACH).
The South Tees MACH is a well-established integrated safeguarding hub that brings together professionals from Children's Social Care, Police, Health, Education, Early Help and a range of partner agencies. By working collaboratively within a single multi-agency environment, the MACH provides timely information sharing, effective risk assessment and quicker decision-making to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker who enjoys fast-paced front-door safeguarding work and values strong partnership working.
The Role
As a Senior Social Worker within the MACH Team, you will:
Screen and analyse contacts and referrals regarding children and families.Undertake robust risk assessments and make informed threshold decisions.Work collaboratively with partner agencies to gather and evaluate information.Identify safeguarding concerns and determine appropriate interventions.Contribute to effective child protection decision-making.Ensure accurate recording and compliance with statutory requirements.Support the delivery of timely and child-centred responses to children and families.Why Join the MACH?
