We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Looked After Children (LAC) team in Bolton. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children and young people in care, their families, and various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those in our care. Your expertise will help to promote positive relationships, safeguard welfare, and facilitate access to essential services.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Providing support and guidance to children, young people, and their families. Collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to ensure comprehensive support. Advocating for the rights and best interests of children in care. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children’s services or specifically with LAC. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency environment.
