Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of kinship carers and their suitability to provide a safe home for children. Developing and implementing support plans tailored to the needs of children and their families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to kinship carers, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to promote the welfare of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working in child protection or fostering settings, particularly with kinship care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
