Caritas Recruitment is working in partnership with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to recruit an experienced Children's Senior Social Worker to join their Fostering Service as a Supervising Social Worker / Kinship Care Assessor.

About the RoleAs a Supervising Social Worker / Kinship Care Assessor, you will play a key role in supporting foster carers and kinship carers to provide safe, stable, and nurturing homes for children and young people.
Responsibilities will include:
Completing Form K Assessments for prospective kinship carersAssessing, supporting and supervising foster carersUndertaking high-quality assessments and reportsProviding training, guidance and support to carersPromoting the wellbeing and best interests of looked-after childrenWorking in partnership with children's social workers and multi-agency professionalsEnsuring practice remains compliant with fostering regulations and national standardsAbout YouTo be considered, you will need:
