Join the City of Doncaster as a Social Worker in our Help & Protection team, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families within our community. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing support to ensure the well-being and safety of children and families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Monitoring progress and outcomes, ensuring that services are responsive to changing needs. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in line with local policies and statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
