Join our dedicated CWD Team in Harrow as a Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people with disabilities. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled professional who is committed to improving the well-being of families and ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive. You will play a crucial role in assessing needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to provide comprehensive services.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and appropriate interventions. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to families, ensuring access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding and child protection processes.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
