We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children Services team at Pledge (ID 04269). This role is pivotal in providing high-quality support and intervention for children and families in need. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children, advocating for their best interests and promoting positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulatory standards. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary. Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and support staff.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work). Current registration with the relevant social work regulatory body. Significant experience in child protection and family support services. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
