We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Cheshire West, focusing on Children in Care. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving the lives of vulnerable children and their families, ensuring they receive the support and services they need to thrive. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual children’s needs. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children in care and their foster families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate care and resources. Advocating for the rights and best interests of children in care.The ideal candidate will possess a recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have a solid understanding of child protection legislation and experience in working with children and families, particularly in a care setting. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
