We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Adult Autism to join our team in Blackpool. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with adults on the autism spectrum, providing essential support and guidance to enhance their quality of life. Your expertise will play a vital role in assessing needs, developing personalized care plans, and advocating for the rights of individuals with autism and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of adults with autism. Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Providing ongoing support, counseling, and resources to clients and their families. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care. Advocating for clients’ rights and access to services within the community. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with organizational policies.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/BSc in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, we are looking for candidates who have:

Experience working with adults on the autism spectrum. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent assessment and analytical abilities. A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
