We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Adult Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their rights and independence. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including health professionals, community organizations, and families, to deliver high-quality support services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing ongoing support and advocacy to individuals, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Working closely with multi-agency teams to share information and coordinate services effectively. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
