As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Providing expert supervision and support to junior social workers and students. Conducting risk assessments and managing safeguarding cases in line with statutory requirements. Engaging with families and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and support. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance with local and national policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in social work, with a focus on safeguarding. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
