Are you a dedicated and experienced social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in care? Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Child In Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of vulnerable children while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and welfare of children in care. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing expert guidance and supervision to junior staff and fostering their professional development. Managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring that their needs are met through effective interventions. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, BA Hons in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working within a child protection or children in care setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
