We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker specializing in Assessment and Intervention to join our dynamic team in Slough. This role is pivotal in ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families receive the support they need to thrive. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing ongoing support to clients facing complex challenges.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs of individuals and families. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to clients, helping them navigate social services and community resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and support staff. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
