Sefton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Team Manager to join our Court Advisory Team within the Qualified Social Work field. This vital role will involve supporting the Team Manager in delivering high-quality social work services, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families involved in the court process. You will play a key role in leading a team of social workers, providing guidance and support while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the management of court-related cases, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practice standards. Supervising and mentoring social workers, offering support in case management and decision-making. Conducting regular team meetings and performance reviews to foster a collaborative and supportive environment. Engaging with external stakeholders, including legal professionals, to facilitate effective communication and coordination. Contributing to the development and implementation of team policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in social work, particularly within the court advisory context. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team.
