Join our dedicated team as a Children’s Social Worker in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Barking & Dagenham, where your expertise will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and promoting their welfare. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to the needs of vulnerable children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to address identified risks. Collaborating with partner agencies to share information and coordinate services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
