We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team in Worcester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of social workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Supervising and supporting a team of social workers in their day-to-day practice Providing guidance and mentoring to ensure best practice and adherence to policies and procedures Conducting regular case reviews and assessments to monitor progress and ensure positive outcomes for service users Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate services and support for children and families Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration Proven experience in a supervisory role within a social work setting Strong knowledge of child protection policies, legislation, and best practice guidelines Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
