In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to provide support, guidance, and interventions aimed at improving child welfare and family dynamics. As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive parenting and healthy relationships. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s services, particularly in a family support or safeguarding context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and colleagues.
