As a Mental Health and Substance Misuse Adult Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and risks. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing ongoing support, advocacy, and crisis intervention as required. Facilitating access to community resources and services, including mental health treatment and substance misuse programs. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (degree in social work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with adults with mental health issues and substance misuse problems. Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a commitment to person-centered practice.
