We are seeking an experienced Social Worker who thrives in a challenging environment and is committed to safeguarding children and adults from exploitation and abuse.
As a Social Worker in the Complex Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs and risks of children and families, developing tailored intervention plans. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support and safeguarding measures. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to provide guidance and support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding, preferably in a complex safeguarding context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
