Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a rewarding locum opportunity where you can make a lasting difference to children's lives? We are supporting a well-established and developing team in Leicester seeking a dedicated Locum Permanence Social Worker to lead on achieving positive adoption outcomes.
Working within a stable team alongside supportive and approachable managers, you will play a key role in ensuring children achieve safe, secure, and loving permanent homes.
The Role
In this position, you will take the lead in progressing children's plans for adoption from the earliest stage, ensuring a structured and child-centred journey to permanence.
Key responsibilities include:
Taking ownership of a child's journey from the point adoption is identified as a potential outcomeWorking collaboratively with fieldwork teams when care plans are being twin trackedCompleting Child Permanence Reports (CPRs) and Sibling Assessments during court proceedingsProviding detailed, analytical reports outlining a child's needs based on their lived experiencesSupporting adopters with high-quality information to inform matching decisionsLeading on matching, introductions, and placement supportActing as allocated social worker from Placement Order through to Adoption Order, ensuring children are fully supported throughoutAbout You
To be considered, you will have:
