Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Support and Protect Team in Workington as a Qualified Social Worker. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding children, ensuring their welfare, and providing support to families in need. Your expertise will be critical in assessing situations, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with various agencies to deliver the best outcomes for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring adherence to safeguarding protocols. Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
