We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CFS Senior Social Worker to join our Family Help Team in Wisgton. This pivotal role will involve providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes. As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead and mentor a team of social workers, collaborating closely with multi-agency partners to deliver effective interventions and support systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers, fostering their professional development. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Participating in case reviews and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Current registration with the relevant social work regulatory body. Extensive experience in child protection and family support services. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
