Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Safeguarding Team in North Somerset, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children and families in our community. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children at risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them access necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience in children's safeguarding and child protection services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
