The City of Westminster is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of adults facing mental health challenges within our vibrant community. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and risks, developing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing ongoing support and intervention, ensuring that individuals have access to appropriate mental health services and community resources. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic care. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health practice.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly within mental health settings. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
