We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Safeguarding team in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families within our community. As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with various agencies and stakeholders to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions that promote positive outcomes for those in need.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing, implementing, and reviewing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions to safeguard individuals at risk.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in safeguarding and child protection work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
