Social Worker - Children Generic Team - Warrington - £40ph

Caritas are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children's Locality Safeguarding Team based in Warrington.

The successful candidate will be managing a Children in Need and Child Protection caseload of approximately 20 service users whilst providing a high quality and comprehensive social work service to children and young people, their families and carers.

Duties as a Children's Locality Social Worker include:

Knowledge of relevant legislationWorking with children on the Child Protection Register, Looked after Children and Children in NeedWorking with Public Law Outline (PLO)Liaising with other professionalsCase conferencesAttending courtChairing child protection conferences and meetingsSingle assessments

Requirements as a Children's Locality Social Worker include:

Social Work England registrationEligible to work in the UKHold a full UK licencePost-qualified experienceDegree level or equivalent in Social Work
