In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children's needs, risks, and strengths to inform intervention strategies. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legislative requirements. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development and service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience working with children and families in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust. Are you an experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) looking for a rewarding out-of-hours opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated AMHP to join its Emergency Duty Team (EDT), providing emergency social work support and Mental Health Act responses during the EDT twilight hours.
In this role, you'll work as part of a highly skilled team, responding to urgent situations, undertaking Mental Health Act assessments, managing safeguarding concerns, and working alongside partner agencies to ensure individuals receive timely and appropriate support outside of normal working hours.
Your key responsibilities will include:
