We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's CPC (Child Protection Consultant) to join our team in Bristol. As a Children's CPC, you will work collaboratively with local authorities, schools, and other organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and professionals. Providing expert advice and guidance to social work teams and other stakeholders. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure ongoing safety and support for children. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
