Join our dedicated team in East Sussex as a Senior Practitioner in Adult Social Care. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate professional who is committed to improving the lives of adults in our community. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high-quality care and support services are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing leadership and guidance to social work staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Conducting assessments and developing care plans in line with individual needs and best practices. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans and interventions, making adjustments as necessary. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures within adult social care.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A valid Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in adult social care, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to manage complex cases and provide effective supervision and support to junior staff.
