Join our dedicated team in Devon as a Social Worker specializing in Children Looked After. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to support vulnerable children and their families. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote positive outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals to facilitate effective support. Participating in meetings, reviews, and court proceedings as necessary.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
