Join our dedicated team in Tavistock as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Adults Safeguarding. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within the community. You will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement safeguarding measures that protect those at risk of harm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults' needs and risks. Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective safeguarding practices. Providing support and guidance to individuals and families navigating complex social care issues. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adults safeguarding and a sound knowledge of relevant legislation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
