Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans. Managing a caseload of foster placements, ensuring the best outcomes for children and supporting foster carers effectively. Facilitating training and support groups for foster carers to enhance their skills and knowledge. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Collaborating with external agencies, schools, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic support for children in care.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and fostering services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals. A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social work, particularly within fostering or adoption. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
