As a Children’s Assistant Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting social workers in the assessment and planning processes for children in care. Supporting children and families through direct work, building trusting relationships. Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure coordinated support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant qualification in social care, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Experience working with children and families in a social care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals. A good understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
