As a member of our Court Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing child protection plans in line with statutory requirements. Representing the local authority in court proceedings, providing expert testimony and ensuring the best interests of the child are prioritized. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to deliver effective interventions and support services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Supporting and mentoring less experienced social workers and students within the team.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in court proceedings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with children and families.
