About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fostering Social Worker to join a well-supported service based in Selby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable team where manageable caseloads (20-24) allow you to focus on delivering meaningful, high-quality support to foster carers and children.
You will play a key role in the recruitment, assessment and ongoing support of foster carers, ensuring carers are equipped to provide safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport, supervise and develop foster carersComplete fostering assessments (Form F) and annual reviewsWork in partnership with internal teams and external agenciesSafeguard and promote the welfare of children and young peopleMaintain accurate, up-to-date case recordsRequirementsQualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)Minimum 3+ years' post-qualified permanent experience (essential to meet DfE regulations)Experience within fostering or children's servicesStrong assessment and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining quality practiceWhy This Role?Manageable caseloads of 20-24Supportive management structureOpportunity to work within a stable, established fostering teamFocus on quality over volumeWhy Work With Davina at Caritas?
