Join our dedicated team in Havering as a Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, where you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable individuals and promoting their well-being. We are offering a competitive rate of £37 per hour for this Umbrella position.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, providing support and guidance to families, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Your role will also involve attending court hearings and contributing to multi-agency meetings to safeguard children and vulnerable adults effectively.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Experience in safeguarding and child protection is essential, along with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
