We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments of children and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate support plans.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and protective factors Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Conducting home visits and interviews with children, families, and other relevant parties Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of childrenEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work Excellent assessment and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseloadAdditional requirements:
